The distillery is located in the area known as the roof of Kyushu, surrounded by the Kuju Mountains and Kuju, which spreads out at their foothills.
Since our founding in 2021, this bottle has slept in a barrel and matured in the climate of Kuju. It is filled with the dreams and challenges we undertook in establishing the distillery, as well as gratitude to everyone who has supported us.
"tabi," the third series in the "Single Malt Kuju" lineup, takes "travel" as its theme—a journey designed to broaden the flavor profile of Kuju. Rather than simply showcasing raw spirit characteristics in their rawest form, this series highlights a new side of Kuju’s appeal through balanced blending that incorporates specific amounts of robust, distinctive spirits.
"tabi#01" is characterized by a "sweet and fruity" profile, featuring a distinct sweetness that stands out prominently in the initial stages of the aroma and flavor. The experience concludes with lingering notes of fruitiness and soft, woody undertones.
